Large Utility’s Success with New Receivables System a Focus of Upcoming National Conference
WFS, PSE&G and MAVRO Imaging to Discuss Integrating Receivables at TAWPI 2009 Forum & Expo in Washington, D.C., in August
Mosinee, WI – July 23, 2009 – Improved processing time, reduction in labor costs and an increase of more than $8 million in daily investable cash are just three of the benefits a major utility received by putting to work a new receivables system from WAUSAU Financial Systems (WFS).
The secrets of their success will be shared next month with attendees at The Association for Work Process Improvement (TAWPI) Forum & Expo. As an industry leader in payments, receivables and document processing, WFS was selected to be a featured presenter at TAWPI’s annual event, to be held Aug. 2-5 in Washington, D.C.
This year, more than 1,500 operations, business and technology professionals from the payments processing industry are expected to attend.
WFS’ presentation will provide insights about how PSE&G, one of the 10 largest utilities in the U.S., increased efficiency and lowered costs by replacing a legacy receivables system with the comprehensive UtiliWorks™ solution.

The enhancement also improved the security of customer information and increased daily investible cash by $8.4 million per day.
“We are eager to share the many benefits PSE&G has experienced since having implemented our new receivables system. Conference attendees will not only discover the many advances WFS has made in remote capture and receivables technology, but they can also learn how our leadership in this industry can provide them with the most effective payment processing solutions available,” said Michael Tallitsch, Vice President – Corporate Solutions, WAUSAU Financial Systems.
